The FBI Washington Field Office is not only joining forces with the Metropolitan Police and Prince George’s County Police departments, but they are also announcing a $25,000 reward to help find abducted 8-year-old Relisha Rudd.
Authorities believe Relisha may have been snatched by 51-year-old Kahlil Malik Tatum, and detectives believe he’s dangerous. Investigators in Prince George’s County have an arrest warrant for Tatum for the murder of his wife, 51-year-old Andrea Denise Tatum.
On Thursday, according to an FBI press release, while authorities were tracking leads and looking for Relisha, they found Denise’s body inside a motel room in the 6100 block of Oxon Hill Road.
It is believed and widely reported Tatum was working at the homeless shelter where Relisha and her family were staying and her mother trusted Tatum with the child.
Relisha only stands 4 feet tall and she weighs between 70 to 80 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes, with a medium complexion. As for Tatum, he’s on the shorter side, only standing 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds.
There is a separate reward offered by the Prince George’s County Police for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Tatum.
